The year 2003 was the time van der Pol landed one of her earliest television roles as the ditzy Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel Original Series, That's So Raven, starring alongside Raven-Symone, Orlando Brown, and Kyle Massey. Chelsea Daniels is one of Van der Pol's most well-known, and most well-loved characters, attracting adults, teens, and children. Her work was rewarded with praise for her ability in portraying such an extrovert and a bit snarky character something that many initially believed was impossible due to her roles that were more serious in the past.
